Kapowairua is a multifaceted company that reflects the business and personal acumen of our Managing Director, Meri Gibson. Kapowairua represents the freedom of spirit, the flow of energy between people and actions. It is about being reflective in whatever capacity you engage with us. We translate that to mean: you shelter from the wind, but not from the longing. What is Kapowairua
Kapowairua Ltd. The name reflects the life force, the flow of the spirit of life. It is a Maori name meaning "catch the spirit".
Good consultation will form the basis of the companies work this will involve mentoring, coaching, management consultancy, public relations, and communications.
Water is critical to the flow of life and as such Kapowairua will be involved in the importation and distribution of water sport items as they know that the water reflects the freedom of spirit, the flow of life.

Kapowairua is a broad based business advisory and management consultancy company. We offer a wide range of business improvement services to ensure that a business owner can maximise their time and energy on their business rather than in their business. At the heart of what we do is good communications, be that public relations, media training, media management, including crisis media management strategic planning or a business fitness overview.
We look at the key areas of a business and how the personal vision and goals of the directors can be achieved. We mentor you in your business by becoming your confidant for personal and governance objectives.
Events
Our event base is broad and covers marriage celebration, funeral celebrations, and major events. We believe that critical to any event be it an intimate marriage, emotional farewell of a loved one, or a major corporate or community event is: leadership, personal skills, communication skills, problem-solving creativity, technical skills, and key is the development and management style and importantly, understanding how to delegate. As your event partner we can plan and organise the most intimate event or the largest corporate event, be it promotional, business or social.
In our capacity as your event partner we are responsible for running the event ensuring the target audience is engaged and the message of the event is marketed properly. We know that management of an event plays a huge part in the success of a couples special day, the brand or an organisation.

Merchandise
As an event partner we are often asked to develop merchandise to promote that event and as such we have a creative and graphic design partnership through which we can develop a total brand image, website overview, and full marketing material along with merchandise.
In addition to this we are also involved in importing Watersport equipment products that enhance the flow of energy.
